I think top points from last year should be captains. That way buddies you hunt with on other teams will make damn sure it's legit. It should be mainly all for shits and giggles to see reports pics and of course bragging rights. I

I've got no problem handling the shootout again this year but everyone needs to understand that I work offshore & sometimes i don't have internet access out here on the rigs. There were a couple of times last year where I went several days in between updating the scores & i don't want anyone thinking that they are getting screwed out of points.
I definitely do not want to hold any money though...
If I'm running the show:
all ducks are 1 point
coots are not ducks!!!
snow geese are 1 point
dark geese are 3 points
banded birds are worth 10 points
double banded birds (neck & leg or both legs are worth 20 points)
backpack birds are worth 30 points
All pics must have your TD username, date of kill & birds in the pic to be counted.
No points will be allowed for banded birds until the banding certificate has been posted.
Creeping geese is not allowed.

I think the fairest way to choose the teams is let the top people in points from last year be captains. Feel free to speak up if you have a better idea on that.
We need to get a rough count of how many people are gonna be in on it this year.
I'm ok with $10 entry fee but having said that, nobody got paid last year.
What do you guys think about using last years funds for a banded bird pot? Team with most bands wins...
I'm open to suggestions .....

I would like to do it again but I no longer have a place to hunt besides public so don't know if I will go enough to make it worthwhile.

Had plenty of geese but I think it's fair to have even 2 points. That's still 4 points for a limit vs 6 of ducks
