Anyone with a current gen GMC Sierra and leveling kit?

Long story short the dealer I bought my GMC Sierra SLT from is doing 2 inch leveling kit installs that don't void factory warranty. Problem is they don't have good pricing on tires so everyone get the kits installed and then goes somewhere else to have the tires installed cheaper. So the dealer didn't have any input on what tire size to run and told me to google what size tires to run.
I've been trying to research online and on some forums what tire sizes work best with a 2" level but most are with Chevy trucks that have a little wider wheel well so they can fit larger tires easier or a ton of AT4's which already have a factory 2 in suspension lift.
Anyone have an experience with these trucks and what tires to run?

What year is current gen you’re asking about?

Anything 2019+. Mine is a 2020.

I see leveled chevy's around here with 35's. I know for a fact you can put 35/12.5/20s on a 2" leveled Ford with stock wheels. I'm sure you run a 33-35 if you wanted to, or get in to a metric size that is the height you want but a little narrower so its not rubbing anything on inside parts. Be sure to check the tire company's website for the spec sheet on the specific tire you are wanting because they aren't always true to size.

I would run a 295/60 R20 or a 285/60R20.

I have a 2019 with 2” level. Had 295/60/20 Ridge Grapplers that fit well and didn’t rub except for full lock to the left. Now have 295/60/20 Trail Grapplers and they rub like a bitch.

2020 AT4 with 2 inch lift and leveled. I run 35x12.50R20 sized tires. Both installed by the dealer when purchased.

I would go with 295/60/20 as well. You might have a little rub at full lock in reverse. 285/60/20 if you want to be sure to not have anything.

a Ridge Grappler in 295/60/20 and 295/65/20 are the same width 11.77" but the 65 is 35.12" tall where the 60 is 33.94" tall. Something to consider, if you wanted to go taller. same basic price as well.

I have a 2020 SLT with 1.5" level. Running Procomp wheels (don't know the offset) with 285/60/20 KO's. No rubbing. These were the biggest I could go without doling major cutting.

What lift and leveling kit did you put on your AT4?

Rough country lift and level kit. added Bilstein shocks and nitro ridge grappler tires. Mitch at Legacy GMC added them to truck as part of purchase.

Aftermarket level kits don't void the warranty, tell your dealer to read up on the Magnuson Moss warranty.

that and they have to "prove that the leveling kit caused the specific issue." A true lift kit will void warranty, however, you can have your dealer do it and they can warranty it. Same with a level, if you are worried about warranty stuff, talk to the dealer you got it from, if they don't give you an answer you like call a different GMC dealer. Alot of these dealers are selling trucks pre leveled and lifted, some even sell them with cut crash bars (wouldn't recommend).

This is exactly the info I was looking for. I did see a write up about removing a bracket and pulling mud flaps back. If that isn’t too much work and I may do that and get 295’s. I’m glad to hear that the 285’s are a safe option.
