Meeee too baw. Milllllions and milllllions of trout were caught on $2 corks and .20 H&H swimbaits before all this razzmatazz came out. I do love me some matrix because of the durability but their prices are very reasonable, especially if you order the bigger packs.

If you are doing it to save money.... you wont. You will keep adding new molds, colorants, glitters, etc every chance you get!

Sounds similar to reloading bullets.

Oh, yeah it cost more to do this on an individual basis.
I pour my own 1-1/2 shad to mix hard and soft plastic.
Hard plastic for the body to prevent hooks from tearing it up also with salt to help it sink.
Soft plastic for the paddle tail to vibrate a lot when dropping with no salt.

You ever modify any of the molds? Like drill holes in the shrimp one to add legs or eyes?

Kids. Getting up at 4:30-5:00 every morning to go pour before work got old. When it became like a job and not fun I knew it was time to stop.

I ordered a 4" Swim Shad mold and injector off of eBay. I'll start with recycling first.

Are you sure that mold is an injection mold? That very well could be a one piece mold. For that price I am willing to bet it is a one piece POP mold.

MF- Manufacturing. They are outside of Dallas. I tried several brands but always came bask to theirs.
