Anybody hunted Shawnee National in Illinois?

I hunt private land that has Shawnee all around it.
But never really hunted on it. I did look into tons of places to go. the forest covers many towns,

A couple buddies go every year Truth is they usually see a “good one” but always end up shooting a 14” or so deer the last day and wonder why the locals don’t like out of staters

Had a buddy that had a camp that back into Shawnee.
Better for Turkeys if you ask me.
Lot of deer but they never killed any monsters, 130-140 shouldn't be hard to get though.
