I agree with that. we only use a couple and we haven't shot any bucks off of the camera pics that we have seen on them.

I'm back, and guess what, I've killed deer before. Over bait too. Boy what a hunt they were. Was driven out to a field. Dropped off and pointed toward the stand. Climbed up the stand, waited for daylight. Deer came mingling out, closer, closer, closer. Hardly ever put there head up because of the food on the ground. Not planted food, but broadcast food. Picked the biggest one out, bam, one shot. Never had to shoot more than once at all the deer I've killed. Probably no more than 100 yds. Now thats sporting. I don't see anything wrong with feeding deer during the off season, but not during. And by the way I can out duck hunt any of you posers, anytime.

how is your duck hunting ability in any way related to deer cameras, or did you just feel the need to announce your penis length?

Since your post is full of sarcasim, I can only assume you are saying it is more sporting if you are not accurate with your rifle, take long distance shots, and have to riddle your meat with extra bullet holes?

Except for the obvious fact that in most areas, late winter is second only to mid/late summer for lack of available forage? Where I hunt, bow season is in late summer and rifle extends to late winter.

Game cam over dead pig is absolutely mesmerizing. Makes me really regret I didn't have one this year for the 3 mini-boars I ground checked in the refuge this year. The only reason I don't currently use them is fear of theft on public land.

It should be the fear of getting hefty fines. You can't put game cams on refuges

I did have fun with the game cam on the boar. I'm about to have two or three more big one's like that down but I don't know if I'm going to do that again or not. Probably will but not all the way through like I did on that one. I ended up with over 1700 pics. Looking at them fast is like watching a stop action movie. Very cool.

That's all I do. I don't evenuse it on private land. I simply have no need for it.

I bring TP with me on every hunt, but never use it to mark anything other than a turd pile.

Ive only been hunting for 5 years so I still find it very useful to mark my blood trails. So if I cant find the next drop I can step back and gauge the direction of retreat. I use the clip on reflective strips sold at Wally World. They are extremely helpful with night time tracking.

There is a difference between using trail cams just to see what is out there, and using them to get a sporting advantage. I don't have a problem with the former.
