Not my pic but yea, pretty Ford should be embarrassed at how shite their cab bushings are.
From what I can find you're a bit limited on replacement routes, you can get the Daystar replacements for $200 but they're made of hard material and supposedly make the truck ride even rougher, you can get the factory replacements that are $450 and will eventually crumble away again, or buy the S&B silicone replacements, which are supposed to improve ride over stock, but they're $700 and have a lifetime warranty. I bit the bullet and bought the S&B set.

$700 for all needed or $700 per?

$700 for the full set.

I believe in the new F-250s there is a programmer that will shut off the EGR without having to actually remove it. I’m not sure of the DPF. I imagine you still have to drop it and install a new exhaust. I’m absolutely no expert but one of my subcontractors did this on his 2018 platinum.

Yeah, I had one once. Deleted its arse after a couple years, then deleted the delete file

How in the hell would they catch you for this?
They're not catching you. They're cracking down on the companies that make the kits, etc.
It's supposed to be for off-road use only, and they sell way too many for off-road only, so they are busting them.
ETA: I recently sat through a 2-day seminar put on by the guys who work for the EPA whose job it is to bust the companies doing and making the kits.
I don't work for the EPA but I do some stuff for them.
They didn't mention Louisiana specifically, just that their focus is the companies that make this stuff and the shops who do large volume. And I mean extreme volume. Probably in places like Houston, etc.

Shop that did mine down in Houma got busted. They did hundreds of trucks in a couple year period. They still do mechanic work but no more deletes. Shame too they know their shite when it comes to diesels. The government can frick up a wet dream.

shite cab bushings
I put Dorman on my older truck - they made a noticeable difference in ride quality. No way i'd use those plastic cab bushings.

Shop on the east side? They did mine too. 2015 f250 sotf and it has tons of power...mpg worse than before though. Ya'll have me curious about these cab bushings because I have a squeaking sound that I can't seem to isolate...

Probably the only possible legal hiccup is in getting an inspection sticker in certain places that do rigorous emissions testing. Not Louisiana or Texas though.

Yep that’s the one.
I live in MS now and we don’t have inspection stickers so no worries about emissions testing. Yeah take a look at your cab bushings mine are shot and the noise inside the cab is getting worse.

Deleted mine at 60000 miles. Has 150000 now. I did just blow my turbo last week. Cost $5000 to repair. I also did the cab bushings. Installed Daystar and they were worse than the oem ones. Went back with oem after about a month

I can’t imagine seeking a job with the federal government whose sole purpose is screwing other citizens.
