How much grain do the new machines leave on the ground?

Hardly anything....unless you want to....in strategic locations for instance. Hypothetically

Who hauls your grain? My buddy has a big grain hauling operation over in Rogersville.

Looks like that place off hwy 61 near the homochitto river in the bottoms.

That’s a pretty spot. Don’t the same people farm that as Anna’s Bottom? The family name escapes me atm.

You talking Ashland? Burkley I think, or at least that is one side of the family.

Getting into wheat or being a farmer? Because if it is the latter good luck. Keep dreaming like the rest of us.

Pretty nice yield. Started cutting some of our wheat yesterday and it was mid/ low 60s. Pretty decent for around here especially since that wheat was grazed in the winter.

They make some serious wheat yields in Alabama, from what I understand. Like 70-80 every year and 90-100 is not uncommon.
We made some pretty good money 5-6 years ago doing wheat+beans under pivots making 70 bushel wheat and 60 bushel beans, but that was when prices were still pretty stout.
It’s a great way to spread costs in certain situations.

How many acres per can of Copenhagen do you get running that machine for a couple days in a row?

More of a Little Debbie guy, myself. Although my physique may not show it
