Not sure where you are located but in Baton Rouge just yesterday evening i was able to pick up 3 boxes of 9mm and 2 boxes of .380 target ammo for around $0.25 per bullet. Academy off Siegen Ln. They get trucks on Mon,Wed, and Fri. Not a bad option if youre tired of paying the ridiculous marked up prices online. Ive been buying what i need after each time i go to the range with no issues. OP glad to see there are some stores stocking the Winchester. Really clean ammo.

Academy on Juban has ammo. Limit 3 of 9mm, 5.56 and .223. Only 9mm I saw was WWB 50 rds. 45 acp had monarch 50 rd boxes, blazer brass 50 rd boxes and 100 rd WWB.

Yes of course, they haven’t been staying stocked. It’s really hit or miss but it’s still a helluva lot cheaper than paying 3X as much per round online.

Last 2 times I’ve been to Academy off Seigen they had the 250rd boxes of Win for 45auto. I guess those that shoot 45auto haven’t found their way to it, lol. The .223 they had at Seigen last week was all Steel Cased.

Please indicate the day and time you see certain ammo and location.
I think thats really critical in today's time when ammo doesn't stay on the shelf for long.

The academy on Juban is mostly .223 steel case but did have some boxes of brass in 20 rd boxes, Federal IIRC. Now they were loaded with Monarch 7.62 and had a good bit of 5.45.

Just left Madison, MS academy. Went when doors opened. No ammo but shotguns this week or last week. Not even a truck this week.

I drive a bunch for work but just in the last 2 weeks BPS in Memphis was stacked with waterfowl guns and Vans in Brandon had all of the above. I know it’s not local to south LA but was still surprised to read that

Just hit on 9mm/115 fmj @1000 rounds for $299 at Natchez Shooters Supply. Roughly 30 cents per round in the online market is not something you will find on ammo seek. I stumbled across it this afternoon while on the site.
