Just saw some Hornady American Whitetail at Sportsman’s Warehouse in Slidell. 28 bucks a box. Limit of two, buy online and pick up in store.

I check Academy from time to time and have bought boxes when they have it. Also Bass Pro had some recently. Its hit or miss.

Don’t know where your located but Simmons in Bastrop apparently has little shortage of any kind of ammo.

I only use ELD-X in my 6.5. I have not had any issues on deer. It’s accurate also. The ELD-Match I haven’t shot but picked up a few boxes for the range.

Shot a doe a couple of years ago with eld-x 143gr 6.5cm. The hit was a little further back than I had wanted but she only went 20-30yds and fell.
Insides were complete mush and good fist size exit. Broke several ribs.

Go to Gunbot.net. Search Rifle ammo, 7mm-08. Should be able to locate several options. My guns all like the Green & Yella Core-Lokd.

I haven't yet. I bought it for this year. My short barrel howa didn't shoot as well with the fusion I used last year. This heavier bullet seems to help. Not sure on deer yet.
