Riverfront bottoms around Bossier command more than that

Are we really comparing the Bossier area to Tensas Parish area? Maybe I don't know a lot about Bossier Area but I assume more big money pockets and easier access than Tensas Parish River island/land.

Yes. Henderson Island is bow hunting only except for kids. Great hunting and I am sure they have shares for sale also.

My old man helped gather the last of the cattle on Giles back in the early 90's when the old lease club was abolished. He said it was awesome and the damn cows were wild as hell.

Something about those river bottom cows, these were pretty much like free range with that much land, and if they saw a person they were wilder than a deer running off. And if when u finally got them in a catch pen to work them, it was surely to be followed by lots of broken boards, cuss words and fellows getting runned over ??

We sold a bull from our farm on the river north of Natchez to a man from Waterproof, after the third time it ran through every fence on his place and swam the river to return he said just keep it, he was not hauling it back to tear up his shite again.

Upon hanging up the phone my Dad walked out the house and shot it in the head as it tore up every fence we had on its way back each time.

No clue as to why but you are correct, river bottom cows are just plain ornery and mean.

Back on topic, nearly any area on or in the river between Natchez and Greenville is about as good of deer hunting as can be found in the US when population density and nutrient rich soil is taken into account, and there is a finite amount of it available and it commands a premium price.

The area from Natchez to Baton Rouge has the same potential but simply gets too much pressure and does not have the agricultural food sources outside of a very few locations.

If I remember right I think it was 1964 when Mr Joe said he saw his first track down there. Mr Benny N said he saw one in the late mid to late 60's cross mat field rd

I know fancy pointe was a full established club wide open in 76 being we housed 60 dogs at our house in the summer from 76 till 83 until my mom finally made dad get rid of the dogs

Eta. This 8 point on my wall has the date of 12/28/1971 on it
