300 BLK Subsonic ammo choice

Any of y’all use 300 BLK for deer or hog hunting? If so, what do you use and recommend? I have several boxes of Hornady Sub-X but have never hunted with it. Just bought them before the craziness started.

I have a 300blk that my son has shot suppressed on his 1st few deer. I'm now using a 308 with an 18" barrel suppressed so we have a decent blood trail. I have had issues with pass through and a good blood trail, I have not used the rounds recommend above.

I use Underwood 194Gr extreme expansion. Killed hogs out to 100 yds with it.

Only kind I could find recently is some Tennessee yokels who call themselves Insurgent Ammo. Haven’t shot it yet. I’ll let you know if it blows up my gun and/or can.

I ordered several boxes from Discreet but everything is on back order right now. Will be a nice surprise when they show up.

I had a pile on backorder last year when all this first started. It took about 6 months but they sent out updates regularly. I wouldn't imagine it would be that long now.
