Agreed I’ve tried others but my staccato is my favorite kimber is my second choice sigs third. The others I tried just seemed bulky and not put together as well. Is it true that they are about to stop selling to retail stores and only sell direct from them? That’s what I was told when I got mine but I wasn’t sure if he was just trying to get me to buy then.

Staccato is hurting now that every single gun company is making a "2011" version. Most at lower cost

They haven't had good press lately either with dropping retailers in a terribly shitty way and their warranty debacle.

Did a bunch of research before I pulled the trigger on my 2k11 pro comp. Kimber has upped their game in the last few years. Staccato makes good stuff but they are kinda like Nike. A bunch of competitors in the 2011 game now like Kimber, Bul, and Sig at lower cost. You can get a SS 2k11 pro comp for $1800. That’s a ton of gun for the $$$. Hoping my gun comes to my LGS tomorrow. They ordered it from Lipseys Friday.

Holosun is starting to ship the AEMS macro. Going to get one for 2k11. Footprint is 509t. Comes with RMR-509t adapter plate. Will have red, green and gold reticles. For those of you with astigmatism the gold is great. I have a 507 comp gold and I love it. They are selling for $369.

AEMS macro

I've got the Holosun AEMS X2 PRO/CORE on my Stribog. It's a great little sight.

On my 2011 I prefer the Trijicon SRO. I find the larger field of view helps with target acquisition.

The AEMS macro field of view is almost the same as the SRO. It’s .98” wide and .89” tall. The macro is .9” wide and .9 tall.

That is very interesting. It must be the round shape that makes it seem like it has a much bigger field of view.

Steiner 3.3MOA MPS $299.99 at PSA
Really good deal on a great enclosed optic.

They have a Gen 2 out now which is probably reason for discount. Still N excellent optic. Gen 2 has better battery life, bigger buttons and takes CR2032.

Price drop.

Cheapest I've seen it yet. Still waiting on it to get to $200 and I'll probably still not buy one

Kimbers always look great but I’ve heard bad things about the quality. If their quality control has caught up their looks then Kimber would be perfect

Got my 2k11 in Wednesday and went to the range today. Shoots outstanding. Put about 300 rds through it. Kimber has made a big improvement in their QC. Fit and finish on the 2k11 is phenomenal.

I’m either poor or have too many hobbies. 2k for a pistol for me is a hard trigger pull

I want one but I just don’t shoot pistols that much. It’s at the top of my list but I always seem to buy something else.
