I had that flat one in my AR and it is nice vs stock. However, it does not work with the drop in FRT deal I have. It may work with others though. I had to put the stock trigger back in my PSA AR to make it work. Just FYI if you want to run it in party mode.

Is your BCG a full auto BCG? The FRT I have requires a full auto BCG to work properly.

Between the grip module, light, and Holosun it was close to $750 in just accessories.

$300 grip module
$200 Holosun
$250 TLR-8

It's the stock one that came with the lower. Basic PSA setup. It runs fine with the stock trigger. The CMC trigger part that gets pressed for the reset is too "high" vs the stock trigger.

I'm glad you got a good deal. If I would known all that, I would have spent more money that I don't have

Yea that's a $1500 gun all day.

I wonder why it was listed so cheap. Keep us posted when you get it if you don't mind.

Not sure, its why I pulled the trigger so quickly.

I also add Im not too concerned as it does have the Guns.com warranty. So they take it back no questions asked if it does have issues.

You could grab it by the end of the barrel swing it like a bat and waylay the bad guy from across the room.

Ok can someone school me on FRTs? Are they easy to install? Do they wear out the rest of the internals? Is it as easy as installing them and it's ready to go? No other parts needed?

I have a Taurus 22 and will probably buy one just to have it incase I get the itch to try it one day.

This reminds me of a question I’ve always had.

“How long is too long for a barrel before a bullet begins to squib?”

So obviously, a longer barrel creates more gas and a hotter round.

But at some point in time, too long of a barrel would begin to slow the bullet down. A barrel that is 10 feet long for a 22 would not have enough powder to push the bullet through.

I wonder what the cross-section graph looks like on that question
