Four of my six gourds produced successful hatches. They’re just about all flying around now. In SELA. I was late and installed it in early May last year, and I take it down when they’re gone. Had one nesting pair last year.

I lower it, but one of my air guns never leaves the back porch. I have had 5 bird mornings back there before.

Thanks for the bump, just noticed that some are being seen near me in the eastern FL panhandle. So time to clean the house.

Me and the neighbor here in Destrehan are covered up in scouts. Showed up on Mardi Gras day. They’re swarming pretty good. We’ll see what happens.

Moved into a new home this year and just put up my new house 2 weeks ago and haven't seen any. Hopefully I can get some this year.

Put my moms house up at the same time (south Baton Rouge), hers has been there for about 4 years and she had them show up earlier this week. They are definitely starting to show up.

Been pinging sparrows nonstop since I put the house up last week. The little bastards should thin out eventually

Head half a mile over, there are about 20 over the neighbors house every day. Crazy.

Got 5 or 6 on my house in Denham Springs. First noticed yesterday, but I had been out of town. Not sure when they arrived.

I've been working on them. They are getting bait shy though.

sat on my back porch yesterday pm with my two dogs, 18 starlings... dogs had a blast fetching them . it's amazing how dumb they are when they see a even a dead one on the ground.

Have a few checking out my houses/gourds in BR, but none staying overnight.

Have had Martins for over 20 years, and this is the latest without the houses being occupied.

Males everywhere but very that may be females. Looked like a pair checking out the house the last few days but not staying. Raggedy house across the canal full of birds, one side the flap with the entrance holes isn’t even there. Crazy
