2022 GMC Sierra A/C not cooling until I start moving.

Figured the OB has the most truck driving baws. My 2022 Sierra blows hot air at start up and will blow hot air until I drive for a few minutes. Once it gets cold, it stays cold the entire time I'm driving.
Where do I even start with this?

Definitely a fan issue. Either clutch or fan itself

same truck, had same issue, it took three trips to the dealership (warranty covered) before they could get it ironed out. it was something electronic with the compressor. sorry i’m not more help.

Get a gauge set on it first before making any changes/decisions. Need to see if it has high head pressure.
A lot of times that is caused by dirty condenser and people overlook it. I've seen it several times and after rinsing the coils the pressures come down and returns to normal. It's an easy, free fix.
Also see if the fans are spinning with the truck at idle. If not you probably have a switch issue or a compressor clutch issue.

Years ago, I had a '22 Sierra 1500 SLT demo, a/c was really weak, ended up changing the compressor.

I had a pressure switch go out years ago and the same shite happened. If it aint the fan, check your pressure switch.

1 Year ago, 2+ years ago. It was greater than 1, so years...

Check your low pressure switch and freon levels. I had a slow leak and it would be blowing cold air then all of a sudden start blowing hot air. Thought compressor was going out. Filled with frron with dye, drove truck until it started doing it again. They found the leak and repaired it.

Thanks, boys.
What was replaced exactly? Fan clutch? Condenser fan? Temp sensor? I’m trying to see what this is going to cost me.

Its not super simple with modern vehicles since everything is so integrated with everything else.
Is the compressor running while running and blowing hot air? Does it run momentarily and stop? Is the engine fan running?
Put the AC on max recirc, blower full speed, crank the truck, answer those questions, and we can go from there.
