Not that I'd purchase one but I always had a soft spot for the original 7.3 Platinum Editions, I was always surprised Ford never brought back this color scheme as an option for the Platinums.

You can get a hidden lockable gun case under the back seat as an option.

I already have that on mine. Locks with truck key. Pretty neat until I need the floor to be flat.

I agree.

Supposedly GM had a 4.5L Duramax ready for production when the economy tanked back in 2008...meant for pickups, Suburbans, and full sized chassis cab vans.

Seems like that would be an ideal engine for half ton and 3/4 ton trucks and SUVs.
