We didn't have any teal up here this year otherwise I'd have gone sooner. By the way it's going so far this am, no ducks on my spot yet. :-/

Birds were not as plentiful in Venice, ones that were there were extremely decoy shy and not willing to work at all. Changed spots twice and no luck.
Oh well, on to Oklahoma this weekend

Nice. I'll be interested to see how you do. If they're hunting tanks, they should be able to find birds somewhere, but until this past weekend there just weren't a ton of birds down in OK/NTX. The front coming through Friday should bring plenty down from the Dakotas.

Yea, ms got me covered. I hunt Tennessee Arkansas and Mississippi. Arkansas opens up this weekend so hopefully I can get on the board. I also had our second child the opening week of teal so that has put a hold on my early seasons...

I was just curious. Teal season doesn't happen for everyone. I figured he was probably a timber guy.

No worries. I made it out one day of teal and got skunked. It's so dry here I don't really know what to expect for the opener.
I've been putting in a lot of good will with my wife these past 2 months in the hopes that I'll be able to get out a lot during the regular season. We will see if my master plan works out

I was in denial about it too. Hit me pretty quick in September that my season was gonna be limited haha. But hopefully I can make the most of the hunts I get to go on
