Ford can't come close to the Z06, stock or otherwise.

The GT is the best they've got and IIRC the Z06 outruns it on the strip and around the nuremburing or whatever that track is called, while costing alot less

Now stock, you are 100% right.

This.

Anything can be good if you drop a shite ton of money into it.

Bang-for-buck, there is literally NOTHING that can compete with the Corvette when it comes to performance. It is one of the best bargain performance cars from the factory without a doubt.

Also consider the powerplant. While Ford V8s are also very tunable, the Chevy blocks for their LSx engines have changed very little over time. The aftermarket for LSx engines is limitless. Get a stock LSx, strap a supercharger on it with good boost, and you're putting near 500hp to the wheels.

Drop the same amount on a Mustang and watch Corvettes pass you up over and over again. The suspension is just too outdated. The newest generation is supposed to bring an independent rear setup. We'll see what happens then.

Built right in KY!
Toured the plant once, and it was really cool to watch the process.

At a wedding for the week but I'll post some videos when I get back of a few Mustangs in the 1/4. They are modified a bit but run mid 8s NA.

Bap, just saw that you poster. Too far gone to say anything intelligent but you are correct. Make a video.

In the quarter... I'm not talking about straight-line speed. I'm talking about track speed.

I'd like to see the Z71 off road version. GM owns the full sized SUV market. I expect that the changes made to the Tahoe and Suburban would be minimal.

I like the new Silverado and Sierra.

Will there be any diesel models? The new Colorado and Canyon are getting up to two diesel options. LINK
