Only one bird this morning. Could of had three, but let the hens go.

Son and I will burn them in the morning.

I lease a field a field on the cache in Egypt, AR which is about 10 miles out of Jonesboro. The hunting there is really good. Tons of birds fly the cache so there is at least birds to call at. The only draw back to field hunting up here is cold weather. Our field freezes and stays frozen for weeks. We run ice eaters. It helps some, but not enough to make a huge difference.

Definitely worth coming up this way if you have land. If you come this way, give me a shout, and I can show ya around a bit.

My son and bagged 6 woodies this morning. 4 shots and the hunt was over. He did 4 birds in two shots to my two birds to two shots.

I will get a picture up later.

We also peppered a couple pigs with some steel shot at about 10 yards away.

Thinking of going again this morning, but kind of beat. Might just go make a deer/pig hunt. Take a stand with a 6 pack this morning.

Dam Mississippi Rive jumping up every day has pulled all the woodies off my place. Well, not all, but a shite load. Y'all guys running the river, be extra careful for floating logs just under the surface.

Shot one big arse coyote this morning. I think it had to be cross breed with a dog it was so big. I had seen them before and this is no good.

Hunted Mississippi opener today. Saw maybe 10 ducks total in the sky. Too few ducks and too much water, need a cold front in the worst way
