And they didn't win SKA wahoo with their 85, they were third largest weighed, the 95lb caught on Thursday wasn't legal. Foster did win the king division, running 100 miles from belle pass. FYI to the west.

JJ was a year behind me in high school and had a killer rep then as an offshore guy. Now he is just unstoppable. When it comes to big fish, i wiuld put him up against any charter guy. He is currently in a surgical residency so he is no idiot either. No doubt the
Big money couldnt keep up and got pissed.

I hope he gets a sponsor and starts catching blues too and really piss those pricks off. Not hard, just need the 20-40k to put up.

Exactly. Made me think of the bass tournaments I've entered with a grinnel side pot.

Bobby carter is a little bitch. Shame on him for cock blocking JJ.

The big galati sponsor boats must be really pissed getting their asses kicked year in and out by a center console.

Beetlegeuse in Venice runs a much better tournament. We quit fishing Biloxi years ago.

I wish I was so awesome at something people had to change the rules to keep me out.

Also, lol at the guy that says "I respect people that can catch all kinds of fish ok than be great at just one". A) bullshite, B) HE'S IN ALL KINDS OF RECORD BOOKS FOR HIS CATCHES.

I was disappointed when I heard it was him doing this shite. He was one of the ones encouraging us to do it. Guess guys with 4,000,000 boats carry more stroke than guys with 400,000 boats. Duh.

I talked with my BIL about this yesterday and he didn't see it as a big deal at all. He appeared to think the rule was made by the guy who runs the tournament and it's his right to do as he pleases. They were on a 50' Hatteras, but without that invite they'd have been on their 39'CC, or just not have fished it.

I dont see a big deal with putting a rule in place to exclude what they were doing(competing on a side bet) The big issue is, creating a rule on the fly, that doesnt go along with anything else, to exclude him after he is weighing in. That is total BS. if they wanted to exclude him, or limit his earnings, they should have made it known prior.

His boat is awesome though

My impression was they didn't let him bet in the beginning. Told him he had to match that bet in another species and he didn't want to.

The 39'ers are awesome. They run SeaVee's version.

I thought he laid down a bet. it said he got that portion back, and had to bitch about his entrance fee as well. He entered into the sailfish category, then they told him it they were not allowing it, because of lack of boats, despite other categories with less boats.

I noticed that.
The ad lists an angler on his boat as a winner, and shows multiple center consoles.

I just think it's crappy to change a rule on the spot like that,
especially after he paid his fee and showed up ready to fish.
