From a quick internet search, bluish smoke indicates that a motor is burning oil.
I would do a compression test. Most auto parts stores will sell a kit for performing the test.
You’ll be able to identify if it’s cylinder/piston/rings or a valve problem.

Add the correct amount of Seafoam to a tank of gas and run it. It'll clean the fuel system, esp a gunked up carb.

Could be carbon stuck rings. Take a pint of oil out, replace with a pint of Marvel Mystery Oil. Run it normally for a few weeks, change oil. Or get a can of Mercury Marine Engine Tuner, follow instructions, then change spark plug/oil & filter…

This happened to me, I had to much oil in it.
