Any owners of or similar models experienced the same? Few small drops on the driveway, looks like a slow leak. I did a little research and crawled underneath, seems to be coming from the oil pan gasket, But I am by no means a mechanic. Watched a video of a guy change one out, doesn’t seem too bad. Anyone have experience doing this themselves?

My 2011 did the same at 160k miles. Looked like it was coming from the rear seal and got worse pretty quickly. I sold it right after. It was a great truck though.

Lol I was hoping to hold out a couple more years, but that thought has definitely crossed my mind

I’ve had a defective filter do that before, went away after I changed it. Hopefully that is the problem?

My 2011 didn't help same thing, leaking about where you're talking about. Was the main seal on the transmission, $4k repair

Man please don’t tell me that. I had plans to try and diy the oil pan gasket if that what it is, and it seems to be, but I really don’t have time. Gonna call around tomorrow and see who is available to look at it

You need to clean the area well and try to identify exactly where its coming from. You can probably pull the dust cover off the bottom and see that it isn't the transmission input shaft seal.

If it is the pan gasket you can probably do that yourself if you want to bad enough. Rear main seal is also doable but significantly more work.

Find out exactly where it is before you take anything apart.

I have a leak that I thought may be the rear main seal or oil pan gasket. It’s coming from the oil pressure sensor near the filter. I’ve already changed it once because it would randomly drop to 0 PSI and then shoot right back up. It’s not fun to change. The guy at the parts counter said it’s a fairly common problem for them to leak.
