Im at work and was able to figure it out just by what I saw today at the house. Apparently this a problem on the 2011 models. Id check yours to see if you have the same issues. Good Luck! Coolant T-Connector

I was coming here to say check the quick connector. my 12 with the 5.0 did the same thing. I looked it up on one of the forums and found a part number to replace the nylon o ring with a rubber one. Ford had it in stock and it was about 3 dollars if I remember.

o ring

but if you have 126k, you might want to change your hoses and try the o rings before you buy the whole t connector. it comes with nylon ones from ford not the rubber o rings.

saw your edit. You have to buy the hose with half of the T connector and then the other half of the T connector separately. Ill try the O ring first and return what i dont need.

Toyota actually sells a nice replacement part that will solve this common Ford problem and it will last a lot longer than the ford part. Go to the Toyota parts department and ask for a "Tundra". They will know what you are talking about.

all I did was buy two o rings. I only used one. Let me check to make sure that is the correct one. I bought it at all star ford, they had them in stock.

Total parts list for leaky coolant system on V-8 5.0 2011-2014

1. 1x LINK

2. 2x Ford Part# BC3Z-8590F : One for upper hose and one for lower hose.

3. 1x BS-210 EPDM O-Ring : For water pump to DR3Z8566A part.

make sure it is not the hose and fittings leaking from the coolant reservoir on the fender, a lot of those leak too. that is the link to #1 above. I did a lot of research on mine on one of the f150 forums, so I'd verify the part numbers are correct for the o rings.

again like I said before, I was able to buy it locally once I found the correct part number. no leaks after the o ring was changed last December.

Odorless but not really oily.

That's probably water from the AC condenser

That is one thing I thought was leaking too when I was trying to track down the problem.

Mine has only leaked that one time (at least large enough for me to notice) I don't have any spots on my driveway either.
My coolant was about 1.5 quarts low today. Since yesterday the T connection has dried. I'll keep an eye on it until I have time to swap out the O Ring
