My Skeeter was rated for a 175, and I had a 150 EFI. It did fine. I think that jump from 115 is bigger.

My Skeeter is the same. Was going to upgrade it to the 175 and the dealer said the additional 3000 wasn't worth the couple mph I would gain.

And that boat looks like HELL! What the hell did they do to it? Cant wait to see the finished product.

Possibly rod holders? Weird place to put them, but possible. Is the middle hole threaded?

I'm guessing a mount for rod box struts (to keep hatches from slamming shut)....what does it look like on underside of hatch? Especially since there's one on each hatch.

Beer. White cans are probably Miller Lite.

Beer for a rewire? I would feel so guilty to take that offer

The rod box struts are attached next to the hatch handles with two screws. They may be rod holders since there are two on the front and back deck, but i cant find anything comparable to them online

Also, can anyone tell me what the square metal with four bolts and hole in the center?

Either a top as previously said or if the were a crappie fisherman spider rigs.

Are the holes threaded or slick inside?

Great project you have there, looking forward to watching it move along. Good luck with recovery and follow doctors orders on rehab, I learned that lesson the hard way.

If you're near BR and need to rewire I'd gladly help in exchange for some white cans.

I will buy you as many white cans as you can drink in exchange for helping me with the re wire on mine.

Looking good so far. I'm not too keen on a lot of fiberglass work. Good luck to you.

Ground out the spider cracks with a Dremel and applied Jamestown Distributors two part TotalFair epoxy fairing compound. Waited for it to cure, then sanded smooth.

Gonna be a damn fine rig. I have never understood why carpet is put on any boat.

Hard to tell but from its looks like most of the webbing is just the gelcoat and not structural of the glass. Mine has one spot the gel has cracks so far, it's an '02 model.
