2" Level kit or not? Problems/advice?

Bought a new 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT Premium Plus Package.

I've never had a leveling kit on a truck before but I hate the front end "dip" that is not level with the back.

Anyone have experience/brands/advice on this? Will my ride get rough or lose significant gas mileage?

Thanks in advance...

I've got 5100s on my Tacoma. About 1.5" of lift in the front. Rides "different" but not bad by any means. Might have just been the fact my old shocks were worn out idk.

Bought same EXACT truck 3 wks ago in 4wx4. Get the 2" level kit, it will make a ton of difference in the looks of it. Wont hurt gas mileage, wont notice difference in the ride either. But looks alot better. Cant remember brand, my dad owns a carqust store and i just got the one he carried there.

Have the same truck except a 2016. Started out with Bilstein 5100 on highest setting liked the firm ride but was not enough lift in the front. After 25000 miles I brought the 5100's down to stock level and put a 2.5inch RC level on it. Rides much better and has a much better stance. Running 295/55/20 Nitto Trail Graps. Also to be noted just had my rack and pinion replaced under warranty. Not sure if leveling kit caused it or not.

I just bought a new 2017 2500hd Denali diesel 4x4 and I'm looking for a leveling kit as well. What's the best one to get and best place to have installed in BR area?

yep... my dream truck. MAYBE my next one

the only two reputable companies i know of in BR are CSC customs since they re opened again and DTB in Port Allen.

I message them and they quoted me for a 2" level. Not sure of brand but I'll probably call them this week and go ahead and do it. I think it looks a whole lot better with the level.

I put 2" drop shackles on the rear of my 2013 GMC Sierra. Pretty much leveled it out. Looks a lot better, doesn't effect the ride or gas mileage

So you went from the adjustable Bilsteins to the RC level? Nothing wrong with the RC level but I have never heard of anyone going that direction

2" level and 33-34 tores look great

When I was debating which leveling kit to put on mine, I had a guy that owns a mechanic shop recommend the same thing. It sounded kind of crazy, but that's what he did to his truck and it looked pretty good.

That being said, I went with a 2 1/2" kit on my 2016 Z-71.

Put a 2 1/2" AutoSpring level on my F150. Didn't change ride quality, and looks much better.

I kept the Bilsteins on the truck just move the ring to stock setting then added the leveling kit. It rides and looks better. The Bilstein on max height setting was rougher.

If you put bigger/heavier tires it could cause your mileage to drop a little but that's it. I'd also recommend getting an alignment after the kit is put on.

Thanks. Actually getting the 2" put on today. Not changing tires as of now, but when I need them I will be going with the Toyo A/T 2's

what shop did you go with to install? I'm looking to do the same, but on a 2017 F-150.

Have you considered towing or hauling something?
