Anybody seen this ammo or guns in any stores yet? Sounds badass so I am on the hunt.

They are coming out with a 17 Hornet too. That in a CZ Varminter would be a dream.

not seen in stores yet, i read about them back in january a good bit. im sure i will own one 
i use the 17hmr and 17mach2 a good bit.
also, didnt they already have a 17hornet? either way, the 17supermag would be the way to go beings its rimfire, cheaper ammo and more in a box

I've been reading up on and waiting on it since its introduction. Seems like it would be a fun round for varmints and small game. Haven't seen any confirmed release dates yet though from any manufacturers.

17 super mag will shut down the 17 hornet... for the sole reason of it being rimfire and get 50 bullets for $15-18 bucks as opposed to 20 bullets for roughly the same price. Midway shows some 17 super mag bullets comming in stock around august, and savage said the release of their new B.Mag rifle for the 17wsm will be in the 2nd qtr of this yr with a msrp of $350, not bad at all
