Not Alex. I only know him through another Alex resident from same employer.

Just hung up phone with him.

Basically it goes like this.

Main Beams-28.5 and 28.25 (do I need to go further) 56.75 inches

Circ Measurements.....H1 5.5, H2 4.5, H3 3.5, H4 3.5 (pretty much equal on both sides) 35 inches in circ

G1 6 and 5---11 inches

G2-12 and 10---22 inches

Inside.18.5

I just rounded the numbers up...and came up a little above 140...

He told me the main beams swept back and forward a pretty good bit.

The left G1 is about 5 inches and the right is about 3

I'll buy the tine length, although I'm sure they are giving it a generous measuring point, probably measuring close to the bottom of the main beam, not where they should be measuring from

I really dont buy they mass measurements though

If you look at his right hand it looks like he could easily wrap his index finger around the base and touch his thumb

I need to remeasure all my deer. I was doing this part wrong:

Regardless of the number of points the buck has, you get four circumference measurements on each beam.

Keep in mind it is hard to judge from a picture.

There are very few B& C scorers in La.

I shot this over to one of them, he doesnt debate it at all.

The mass measurements are not large, so I dont know the complaints there...the deer was 6 inches at the pedicle and 5.5 at smallest point of the bases.

Like I said, I may be off a half or two here or there...he was on the road and just went off the top of his head.

He has shot quite a few large deer, and looks at tons of them on the hoof. He measured it initially at 139....then Simmons at 140.

Amen

Debating whether it is 137 5/8 or 140 from a pic is weird.

I'm sorry but that deer does not have the mass and wouldn't get it there

Doesn't have monster main beams, woudnt get it there

Doesn't have the tine length, woudnt get it there

That thing maybe, maybe hits 130

Actually we were debating the above.

+ONE MILLION

Like it makes us more or less of a hunter than the other guy if our deer happens to have 1" longer horns.

Hard to believe someone is arguing a score on a deer from a pic.

Anyway, it's a huge cull deer.

I got involved in the argument about how big the dudes deer was. Then I realized I could give two shits about the size of another feller's deer. So I struck my comments from the record.
