It’s cold!

In the living room drinking coffee. Just had 2 does at the pond behind the house.
I’ll be in the woods this afternoon.

Dayton, OH public land
It will be 23 degrees when I get out there
PSE Surge w/NAP Thunderheads
Saddle hunting in a pre-selected tree that I scouted
There's a nice 8-point I've been trying to get this season from the area I'm hunting. I've ran across him a couple times but he's crafty and never came close enough. I scouted a little more and found a trail he frequently uses from his bedding to a creek. The trail runs through a slight opening (20 yards wide) where he and other deer look to be grazing on some clover. We'll see if he shows up today.

Good luck, plenty of childhood memories from Gloster.
We have family land on Bluff Springs Road just past the county line. Lease got sold years ago and we were left with just 26 acres. My uncle recently bought 80 acres back so we have 106 total.

Small world. My dad and I hunted for many years at the intersection of Bluff Springs and Mt Carmel Rd. I used to drift around that curve where it turns to gravel from pavement when I was 17-18 like an idiot. Had many good memories in that area.

55 and calm for the moment
2 acre green field behind the house.
Have plenty meat but if the 10 pt that’s been hanging out here shows I’ll make an exception.

Hunted around that intersection a few times with my grandfather as a kid. Man by the name of Cleo let us hunt there. He was related to family we hunted their land also down on Bluff Springs closer to town. That was on our spot light loop back when spot lighting was legal. Dad, uncle and buddies would drive around with Seagrams VO and coke terrorizing the country.

We leased the land from James Harvey and a lady from Memphis. We were clearing an area in the woods once and found some old bricks and marbles . It was from an old school house from many years before. I miss hunting there .
Don’t remember a Cleo but that was 30 years ago.
