Rapides parish . Lots of fog . Looked outside and made coffee . Only thing I have ever killed in fog is geese . Don't think I could see a deer past 25 yards in this fog .

Don’t recall if I’ve ever killed one in heavy fog, but I had a chance at one right before Christmas. My foot was on the excess slack from my sling and I banged the barrel on side of the stand. Before I could draw up on him, he was out of sight.

Just dropped one off the side of this lock on baws. Bowels couldn’t handle that last cup of coffee and hog sausage for breakfast

A big buck will move in the fog. They feel like they are more protected.

That's why I remove my sling once I get in the stand.

I got it done last year. Pretty painless. Where are you getting it done?

Well enjoy it. It has been the best present my parents have bought me (got it for my birthday last year). Definitely worth it.

How long did it take and what was the recovery process? I was the kid in sports that wore the rec specs

Procedure was 15 mins. As soon as you do it, you have to wear goggles all day and sleep basically. Then for a few weeks you wear the goggles to sleep. Just be careful for the first 6 weeks or so. They should be mostly healed by one month but I was super careful for 6-8 weeks. I think Carson went to a Basketball game the same night as his surgery. He is fine but I personally would not recommend doing something like that.
