Box on green patch

Walked up on a herd of pigs around 1:30 when I got to the property.
Missed one, tried to stalk

As I’m walking in to hunt this evening, someone parked their truck on this property, my friend’s property. No idea where he is.

Damnit. Cut his shirt tail off and make him walk back to camp.

Sounds like y’all are having a great weekend.

This.

Definitely get the shirt tail. He’ll always remember that.

I had a lot of fun wiping blood all over my youngest boy this year on his first kill. Making memories.

He’d shoot as many as I’d let him, but he’s too lucky.

Between him, my 6 yo daughter, 7 yo nephew, and 11 yo nephew they’ve killed:

9, 8, 8, 7, and a 6

Add my 8, and that’s a lot of deer being killed on 500 acres. Need to have some for next year

That’s just the bucks, we’ve killed some does and still have 3 tags left. Hate to kill too many though because our buck/doe ratio is great right now and we’re seeing our strongest rut in years

Wonder how badly the '11 flood affected the deer population. I believe the highest point had 8ft of water over it. Some came back but large numbers had to of either died or just stayed where they found high ground. Would've been frustrating for those who investing in growing world-class mature bucks only to have them swim away.

They came back. They have quite a herd out there currently.
