Based on the conditions, do any set of cyclists have an inherent advantage based on their start times today?

Still just barely missed the lead with 3 crashes!

Probably would have medalled on a dry course.

Doesn't look like the course is drying and everybody's on course so probably not. Could make a difference for the men if rain stops..

This should have been delayed a day. This is just a matter of luck to not crash or flat, not bike skills.

Tarling would have probably taken the silver without the bike change.

Remco really is a bullet. Amazing power for such a smaller guy. So solid on the bike. Ganna was the gold standard on flat TT, but he must hate Evenepoel now.

I figured we would be strong in BMX. I'm always amazed at their control pulling off some of the stunts they do. Equally amazed at artistic cycling.

Given the tour didn't have a Champs Elysees finish I'm really surprised the Road Race isn't on it

Batten gives the USA it’s first ever Olympic Silver in Mtn Bike CC. That was a hell of a course

I really like the MTB course. Probably the best Olympic course ever! Most of the technical features were downhill, but it's still good to see bike handling skills getting tested.

Batten had a tire puncture and still finished second. Doubt she could have won, though, since the French woman was so determined and dominant.

Good to see hardtail bikes still have a place in elite racing.

I’m excited to see the men race tomorrow. How will Amos do going up to elite status? And the track is perfect for Blevins, not much tech it’s all about the horsepower.
