aren’t you in agreement with these articles?
Nope, i leave the shite like this and getting mad over who plays the super bowl halftime show to the political hacks like yourself.
America belongs to the people, not political rags like Huffpo.

The fact Jemele Hill wrote this is the least surprising thing maybe ever.
I mean when ESPN fires you. Yikes.

Same way the plenty who did not support the policies of Biden/Obama and were vehemently opposed to some specific policies managed in previous Olympics.
Been going on forever, large portions of the population have not liked every president that ever was elected. It's pretty basic and simple actually, not hard to understand are manage.

Politicians can bug off for all I care but there's some statistical evidence of this and this isn't the only study or poll on the issue (focus on the poll not the associated post). If you Google around you'll see a marked difference in political ID and "patriotism" and how each side handles being "out of power" and their feelings about the US generally.

Only thing I can think of is republicans making fun of Obama because he lobbied for Chicago to get the games and he failed. A bit different than expressing disgust at the flag and patriotism.

I think
I see my post has probably been misinterpreted and misunderstood by some.
I manage to pull for my country in the Olympics whether I like the President and his policies or not. I was commenting in response to Hill's comments as to how anyone could - it's easy - people have been doing it since the Olympics began.

Just checking in to say I'm proud to be an American. Always have been, always will be.
There's not a Policy nor President who could ever change that. The ability to spew nonsense like this without ending up in a prison cell, or worse, is what makes our country great. These idiots are just too stupid to comprehend the world around them. Stuck in a demented echo chamber of depravity.

Im sure noone involved with and nothing about the the Turning Point Halftime Show had anything to with political faux outrage around sports.

Hell many, many folks here were consistently opposed to Obama and his policies - very passionately so - you could pull up many, many examples of it with a simple search of this site.
And those same folks were able to support Olympic athletes with no problem.
That was my point. Ain't a president that ever has been that has not had vehement opposition to some policies and by literally millions but that really should and for most does not have any affect on their ability to pull for their country's athletes in the olympics.
