I would imagine that there are landing bags all over the place for kids to practice now. There used to be foam pits, which were a bitch to get out of. Kids these days have so much more available to them to practice

Snowboard cross team finals coming up soon.

Jacobellis is riding really well. US and Italy have to be the favorites

Baumgartner was crying so hard two nights ago when he thought his Olympics were over, and he thought Vedder would get Lindsey as his partner.

Guy is 40 and quite decorated as well and you could see he thought his career was over. And now they finish with gold medals.

Snowboard cross is my favorite winter event, and it was even better to see two vets ride off with golds.

Also Nick is probably the rare Olympian whose kid is old enough to understand every dynamic of the race.

I think the mixed events are kind of silly, but if it gets Jacobellis another gold, I'm cool with it.

Did Jacobellis do a grab on that final jump?

I like the mixed events, and I think the idea is to reward countries for somewhat similar funding of men’s and women’s sports, something that benefits the US a ton.

This was more straightforward but the mixed swimming and track stuff is fun to watch as well

That Italian bawette in downhill is nuts doing that with a fractured tibia and ACL strain

That was incredible.

Also, mixed snowboard cross finish was legendary. Combined age of 76

Shriffin needs to at least pick up a few bronzes to get our medal count up. Some countries at the top are heavy in bronze

This mixed event wasn't bad because it had the same riders that were in the singles events. In the Summer Games, it was different, second tier athletes, not really any kind of excellence, which is the core theme of the Games.
