Ok..I just read this article.....
Article about all of the leaking Methane
and then I saw this video......
Methane Disaster
It looks like there could be BIG trouble from this....has this been discussed on here? Its will take less than 10 minutes to read the article and watch the video but its worth it IMO.

scanned the article but watched the video....it had me at "Mega Disasters!".....scary stuff and hopefully this won't happen...sure wouldn't want to wake up to that san diego scenario! still standing by the idea that nobody has a damn clue how this will play out....

Methane is lighter though and will float up, where CO2 is heavier and wont rise as that video said. With that though, im not getting on any plane flying over the gulf now! Methane and Airplanes dont go well together! But i do get what its saying about the lighting if the methane cloud is large enough and doesnt rise up high enough in the atomsphere.

I heard the reason you cant fly unless you are over 3000 sq ft high is because there is so much Methane that the planes may not get enough thrust.

NOAA officials have said no visible bubbles on surface. Its being dissolved in the water column

yea it also has something to do with the CH4 concentration in the air and affecting the ignition of jet fuel in the engines which can shut off the engine. That happend over the bermuda triangle to some squadrant of Naval planes awhile ago and all of the disappeared and the remences of the crash wasnt found for years.

The real fear is that somehow a huge Methane bubble will escape, ignite, and obliterate the coast. The article says BP is burning off 30 million cubic feet of gas A DAY so there is obviously a ton down there. If it cracked and a huge amount came out things would get really bad very quickly!!

Thats nothing. We have 4 plants here in the BR area that produce 130 million H2 a day. Thats just what we reform from a natural gas feed stock per day. 30 million is nothing.

Were producing around 360 mcf a day where I am 30 is nothing.

Both article & video = Bouvane Serra. Written and produced by enviro-wackos, who have nothing else to do

Nothing else to do other than tell the public what is going on?
