Yeah it was an idiotic point. This stuff is above your paygrade. It's okay. Run along.

People don't like stepping over addicts and beggars, which happens in this country. shite, the mile walk to the train in Pasadena a couple of years ago was unpleasant. The train was worse.

And singing kumbaya and holding hands isn’t going to get the classes to assemble and come together. Who wants to live amongst the addicts and homeless if they can afford not to? How many want to live in urban crime they can afford not to?

Divorces of all kinds are expensive because they are worth it. Everyone wants to be removed from unpleasantness. And they are willing to pay for it.

And don’t want to support public transportation that will bus anyone they feel is undesirable into their neighborhoods. Or cities. Or vacation homes.

bullshite. The interstate system and suburban living started in the 1950's. It was pretty much a standard by the 70's. I had two cars and lived in the suburbs in the 90's and no one was fat.

Oh look another poster with no valid arguments or counterpoints.

There’s no need when your claims are absolutely bullshite and not provable.

You can’t in any way prove that people are fatter because they drive cars lol

Agreed. I'd probably get robbed by a 16 yr old in a hoodie on public transportation here. No thanks.

I'd ride it in Japan.

I haven't been on that train since before covid, so maybe it has changed.

Surprising the homeless have the funds to support that habit. They usually come off as poor.

In addition to free food, they get can passes for transportation.

Maybe I misunderstood you earlier, but it sounds like you benefit from a non-sustanible govenment run ferry.

That sounds like artifical and not organic development.
