love the cat 9, hits great right out of the wrapper. They have a composite cat 9 that is fixing to drop if you want to go that route

Rawlings Velo ACP if you are going USSSA.

If you wont play in temps below 60, the Demarini CF ZEN, also you MUST break it in slowly for it to be hot.

Marucci are good all around bats. Cant go wrong, and I recommend highly for a hitter that gets stung a bunch, they have that science down.

Louisville Slugger Solo is a great bat as well.

it would be the first decent composite ever put out by Marucci.

There are a lot of variables at play here. Will he be playing high school ball, weekend tournament ball (usssa, ase) or league ball (little league, dixie)? Each one has different bat rules.

So played out, while he doesnt play many Dominicans or Venzuelans or Peurto Ricans....we play a metric shite tons of hispanics and they spend three times the money on gear as us regular folk.

Unless hes a high schooler, just get him an aluminum bat that fits his stature and be done with it. Composites are only marginally better and can shatter in cold weather if he plays in the fall. The marucci cats and poseys are a safe bet

How big is your son?

In general, 99% of his pop will be determined by how he uses his lower body and how he brings the knob forward to use bat whip.

Just buy the cat 9 if he really does need a new bat and spend any extra money on private lessons. If he has like a cat 8 in the right size, just use that.

You left out the silent "h" and at least one vowel (or maybe a "y").

Those AXE bats are awesome. Teach you to drive through the ball and not roll your hands.
