I think every male I know owns a guitar. Only one can legitimately play and maybe 2 others can sort of get by. Personally, I’ve never felt the urge to buy a guitar that I don’t know how to play.

After every bad fishing trip when I load up I mumble to myself “I should sell this stupid boat.”

After every trip when I catch the limit…..

Same experience. bought a 2018 Rogue for my daughter in college. 2022 CVT went to shite. Lucky the class action lawsuit required them to replace due to extended warranty. Never buy another Nissan ever.

Ex wife.

Marriage is the absolute biggest scam on earth. Everything about it is the worst financial investment.

6 years single now and going strong.

$2K on a Guitar made to Martin specs. Guitar sounded great, but went I needed to get the neck adjusted I found out he forgot to put a truss rod in it. Now it’s too hard to play and junk.

He just forgot to put a truss rod?

Martins actually have a weird truss rod history, with the two way rod that most modern guitars not being incorporated until like 15 years ago. They didn’t really use them at all until the 80s…but they have always used some sort of reinforcement. This is why I always shy away from custom guitars, less recourse if something goes wrong and resale sucks.

My entry is two pairs of beats power pros (I think that’s what they are called, they are the $250 ear buds), got one for the wife to train for half marathon and decided to buy myself a pair for Christmas shortly after. Made by Apple and they wouldn’t pair with my iphone unless I deleted them and reinstalled. Didn’t hold a charge well either. Sent them to Apple and they sent them right back said they were fine, never were able to pair with my phone again.

Bought an ATV a few years ago. I think the kids used it twice. Ended up giving it to my stepdad.

To cap off my night, I ordered a fricking guitar from some latino promoting it. I think it was around $200 and I didn't even know how to play a guitar; still don't

These responses or threads on the subject of marriage always remind me that some of you make horrendous life choices especially when it comes to a partner/spouse. It is actually sad.
