I had no idea where I wanted to be at 37 when I was 18. At 18, I wasn't even 100% on where I wanted to be when I was 20.

A lot of things I didn't expect have happened since. I am happy to be where I am and have the family and people around me I do.

When I was 18, I didn't even really fully understand what being an adult was, let alone be ready for where it would take me.

Not in the least, Thought I would be in advertising, got my degree in business. Thought I would be single forever, been married for 30 years. I wouldn't change any of it for any reason. I'm very happy the way things turned out.

Not even slightly. Worse career than expected; hotter husband than expected.

I’d also never been to Louisiana, and had zero idea I’d end up moving here at 19.

I had no idea what I wanted to do after HS graduation.

With that being said, financially Im doing pretty damn good. Health wise, not so good.

My life is great. I’m a welder, I drive a big lifted truck, and I’m swole. If I earn enough “good husband” points, once a week my wife will give me and over-the-pants handy

I’m about 3 years late to where I thought I’d be now, and that divorce set me back, but other than that, I’m not too far off. I have a rock band with my friends, which is something hs me really wanted, so that’s cool.

Getting divorced after 18 years of marriage. Yup right where I thought it would be just living the dream.

I went digging for the old High School memory book. A page for "where will you be in...years"

Dying of cancer at 51 wasn't on any of the list.

Pretty much how I feel. I'm a different kind of engineer than I imagined, but honestly I didn't really even know what engineers did back then.
