He pissed too many people off to live to be old. He survived many assassination attempts

The New Orleans family has gone legit. Marcello's decedents own considerable real estate all over the place.

Angelo Bruno ran things right. He made sure everyone was making money and he kept the heat off his people by keeping the violence to an absolute minimum. Kept Philly quiet for years. Then Scarfo got greedy.

There was Jimmy and Tommy and me. And there was Anthony Stabile. Frankie Carbone. And then there was Mo Black’s brother, Fat Andy. And his guys, Frankie the Wop and Freddy No Nose. And then there was Pete the Killer, who was Sally Balls’ brother. Then you had Nickey Eyes and Mikey Franzese. Jimmy Two-Times, who got that nickname because he said everything twice. […] I’m gonna go get the papers, get the papers. ”

The Marcellos were legit about 30 years ago around the time the old man had gotten out of prison for BriLab. Most of the old New Orleans mob families are now legit like Carollo and Provenzano. Talking about doctors , engineers and very legit business guys

Sammy "The Bull" Gravano. Lived in Scottsdale in the WPP and trained at the gym I worked out. Worst kept secret ever trying to hide his identity, even with all of the horrible plastic surgery. Would tell anyone who would listen his stories before he got caught up in a local ecstacy ring and sent back to prison. His wife owned and operated an Italian restaurant near Old Town Scottsdale (Uncle Sal's), really good Italian food!

Joe "Mad Dog" Sullivan the premier hitman of his generation. Admitted to 30 murders. His frequent partner Donald "Tony the Greek" Frankos said it was over 100. Sullivan was the first man to ever successfully escape from Attica.
Donald "Tony the Greek" Frankos hitman that admitted to over 40 murders. Subject of the book Contract Killer: The Explosive Story of the Mafia's Most Notorious Hitman
Sullivan and Frankos treated it as a business and would sometimes kill somebody in the morning for a Harlem drug dealer and then carry out a mob hit the same afternoon.

Tommy Desimone. Tommy from Goodfellas was based on him, but the real guy was much more of a psycho.
Wouldn't call him a favorite but he was fascinating.
