And to think.. this could’ve all been avoided had she dealt with the owner and ensured shite was taken care of promptly.. but she let it play out through the slow wheels of insurance and got caught.

Yeah I’m here. I’m cool with it continuing to grow as long as infrastructure and business keep up with it.

Infrastructure in Youngsville is stuck in the 90s

As far as roads go at least

Ken (mayor) had to call this emergency meeting to save HIS future job. He ran un-opposed in Nov. 2022 and has done a decent job during his tenure as Mayor.

I don't think he's ever run opposed. If so, not a single vote has ever been cast in his name.

That means he’s doing a good job.

I think Ritter is doing a fine job but I’d be calling him out next if nothing is done about Chief Popeye and Ruh-Reaux

He came out with a statement regarding both idiots. He’s the one that is calling the city council meeting.

There isn’t a whole lot a mayor can do to an elected city councilor. And if the police chief is also an elected official, as some have suggested, he can’t do much to him either. But it’s also depends on the city’s codes and bylaws. The city councilor would likely have to either resign or be recalled for anything to happen to her.

They have to resign. Their lives will be miserable if they dont.

Ricky is not resigning. He’s the most arrogant citizen in Youngsville and that’s saying a lot. They’ll have to drag that man out the building before he resigns.

You voted for the daughter of a longtime Chief of Police instead of a woman with a PhD that actually led an effort to create a city masterplan back in 2014 for Youngsville.

This is why our state is the way it is

'Eight-six-seven-five-three-oh-nine,' she sings, insisting she is not drunk. Bordeaux - who now maintains Reaux was not given special treatment - proceeds to sing the number, with Reaux joining in.

'Eight-six-seven-five-three-oh-nine!' the duo jokes.

The unnamed officer sporting the bodycamera is not seen questioning the councilwoman's response, with him actually telling a towing staffer that her phone number was 337-867-5309.

This part coupled with the Chief’s statement that anybody who knows him knows that he routinely goes to accident scenes and allows the officers complete discretion to charge as they see fit without any undue influence from the chief as was obviously the case here.

I hope they show the body cam footage of the Chief and Reaux singing 867-5309 at the council meeting.
