Now that I relocated my parents near me....I honestly do not see myself going back to visit BR for a really long time.

Would you have any other reason to visit BR now that your parents are with you? (other family, etc)

The only reason to visit BR, if you don't have any other reason to visit is LSU football. Death Valley is one of those places college football fans have on their list as a place they would like to experience a game, but other than that there is absolutely no reason to come here. I am not saying "I hate this place, its the worst place ever, etc", because if you are use to living here, its home, but like every other city in La.. Other than New Orleans, there isn't much here.. especially for the long term.

You are due for another visit to Scottsdale my friend! This time come when the temps are not the same as the surface of the sun. Then maybe we could actually go hiking or hit up a spring training game

No, no we don't. In fact, there has been an uptick in living in Louisiana since you left.

Just some fun info for the LA people here;

Duponts Circle is considered the "gay" area of DC

DC ranked 3rd in highest insurance cost in the country. Higher then LA which was 4th.

I guess you don't understand that there are cities out there that have this thing called a public transportation system. It's pretty awesome. You should drag yourself out of your trailer and visit some other states.

Louisiana sucks baw deal with it.

Alaska = better hunting & fishing (except for duck hunting, Louisiana is way better)

So it's coincidental that he lived in DC and CRev lived in DC and they both post douche stuff like the cost of their car?

I have extended family that still live in Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. Love them and all...but not necessarily close enough to them to spend the $$ on travel back to LA.

See that is the thing. For me to visit BR, costs me like at least $1000 each time I visited(airfare, hotel, rental car). It sucked every time I spent that money when I would think of all the other places I could travel to (that I have never been to yet). I have some friends that still live in BR as well....but they could always come visit me. Some of my friends have been saying they would come visit me for years...but never do. Instead they would just wait until I come for a visit.

I'm looking forward to having my family closer to me(even though right now they are stressing me out daily) and freeing up some money to travel to other places now

I'd be interested in a rocket interview where he tells us what he actually enjoys. Not sure how long it would go considering how much he hates other things, but I'd be curious to find out.
