You wouldn’t want to go back in time and do anything other than observe.

If you want wealth the best way would be to go a couple of days in the future and guarantee what the winning mega millions would be and bring the numbers back to buy a ticket.

The next trip would be best to go forward to understand the stock market and invest a portion of your winnings for further growth.

1- Next week to find the wining mega millions numbers.
2- Jump out 50 years and look up my cause of death ie liver caner, heart failure, etc, so I could specifically manage my health care to that potential future ailment.
3- 500 years into the future to see where humanity is heading to help inform my political and social positions and charity/activism as a wealthy person.

I would put it in the corner of my living room and tell people it’s a time machine and not to touch it. If they didn’t believe me, I’d tell them that they can use it, but will never ever get to come back to their current life, they would be stuck forever in where they chose to go.

I’d go back to the day of drawing before the largest Mega Million jackpot ($1.5B) ….the drawing before had to be at least $1.2B or more

Thanks. Up for that question and challenge.

I realize you're not a Believer, but that's ok.

Yes - you're right in this sense; There were ONLY Herbivores on God's Earth -- and NO death before The Fall of Adam and Eve. Ergo... NO "Meat Eaters" during pre-Fall world. AT ALL.

So what of T-Rex?

Were Dinosaurs some of the "beasts" created by the Lord on the 6th Day of Creation? Or...Did they exist at all? If so, how so? And how long ago? (according to Young Earth/Bible Creationists?)

Do you really want to know my opinion? It's a mind-blower as you'd probably suspect.

*NOTE:

In the course of God's account of day-to-day Creation, I've listed the Lord's 6th and last Day of Creation. (After every Day, the Lord added, "behold, it was very good.")

Genesis 1:24-31 ~ KJV

24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Really?

Saw Zepp exactly then and there.

Cross that off your list. Not close to epic.

Now IF this "Time-Machine" criteria is a concert scene vibe, how about this:

Dire Straits - Sultans Of Swing (Alchemy Live)

Here’s my position:

I actually side with a literal interpretation of the Bible that includes no death of any kind before the introduction of sin. Without this scenario, I believe Man’s need for a Savior is difficult to justify. I think evolution and Christianity are totally incompatible. If pain, death, predation, disease, etc., already existed before we had a chance to frick up, then how is it all our fault? We should have originally been given (as sinless beings) all there is to enjoy in Heaven but lost it through sin. And then Jesus later came down and rectified the situation.

From a purely theological perspective, I think that makes sense.

The problem, though, is that I think the scientific claims associated with YEC are frickin’ absurd. I also don’t think there’s much reason to take the stories of JC’s divinity very seriously. It was 2,000 years ago in a time and place where there was a lot of ignorance and a lot of religious hysteria.

Even in modern times charismatic people (like Joseph Smith) have managed to gain millions of followers or convince others to commit suicide over some insane shite like hitching a ride on a flying saucer (Heaven’s Gate) or leaving for South America to be part of a religious cult (Jim Jones).

History is littered with examples of figures who persuaded many others to do or believe strange things.

I think it’s more likely that if JC did exist as a single figure that he either built himself up to be more than he really was, his followers did, or later Christians did.

But that’s anecdotal and can’t be disproven anymore than anyone here can disprove that I didn’t just piss apple juice. The real damning evidence is that some biblical claims are completely at odds with modern science.
