but I did just read the summary on the Poli board which was very informative.

So, the suggestion is… the confiscated gun went off randomly or from a defect causing the ice officer (shooter) to respond?
It’s completely fricking irrelevant. First off. It didn’t go off randomly. Zero video or depictions state it magically went off before the ICE agent touched it.
Second, this mirrors the fricking agent who felt justified to discharge a lethal firearm because an acorn fell and he felt fired upon.
Third, where is the training on ICE on proper disarmament? It comes across as they were all doing their own fricking thing with no clue as to the bigger picture.
Seriously? fricker sees a gun and want to detain it (which is fair) but tells nothing to the team? Jesus. This is the incompetence being defended?

I agree with about 85% of the general sentiment expressed there.
that board is 90% bloodlust at this point. Actually celebrating the death of an american citizen because.....I dont know why. He wasnt even protesting (as if that'd make it any better) he was watching from the sidewalk when they attacked him.
Poli Board is truly one of the most vile corners of the web.

Bad things are about to pop off. Most of us won't be affected, but we are complying with our demise...

I would think many have this same observation

this is a huge issue. Watch any video of those guys and you can tell how woefully undertrained most of them are. They hired thousands of rejects in a few months and immediately sent them out.

It’s not fair to the officers to take them off the border where they focus on border crossers / human smuggling orgs and put them plain clothed onto US neighborhoods…it’s govt incompetence at its finest…imagine if poopy pants Biden had his storm troops doing same thing J6 style.

I honestly have not seen a lot of video. I was searching youtube and I have a bit more understanding of what happened now I think.
The thread I was referencing said that the reason the officers shot the suspect is because another officer removed the suspect's pistol which accidentally discharged in the officer's hand as he was walking away.
The other officers weren't aware that the suspect's pistol had been removed. The suspect reached for his pistol when the shot when off, and that's when the officers shot him.
I don't know the veracity of that summary but if true it looks like negligence and imcompetence but not murder

you are better off just not reading anything on that board. They knew what their story was the moment that those gunshots went off : ICE is innocent and the dude deserved it. Anything they post on there is only in furtherance of that.

Yes. That is exactly what happened.
I want law and order. I really do. And in any other situation, these guys would be fine. The pick guys up, do some stop and frisk, door knock. Any other time and these guys are 100% fine.
But we're in fricking Bizarro world where we're maybe invading a nation with 55k people and the WHITEST CITY OUTISDE OF UTAH IS GOING TO RIOT!
What the ever loving frick is going on?
I was around for 1993. I was around for 9/11. Katrina I have been around for a lot of crazy shite. This timeline....this one iis buckwild.

The board switching to wanting a police state and abolishing the 2nd amendment has been wild. What a lib place now.
Where is anyone granted the right to put hands on a law enforcement officer?
Where do people derive a right to block roadways?
How is removing people who are here illegally transforming this nation into a police state?
Sounds like your issued talking points do not hold up under scrutiny.

You’re right, it’s actually a negligent homicide and the shooters need to go to prison.

I spent 30 years on the job…an innocent man (Chauvin) is basically spending life in prison in same state on less evidence. Trump will give the CBP officers up to save his image.

I know it's one-sided there. And here I am getting a different perspective. I wasn't following the story closely at all. At the end of the day the shooting appears deeply negligent and incompetent
Posted on 1/27/26 at 12:13 am to RED DAWN REDUX
That's very possible. Red Dawn was a great movie btw
