You can spend 1 week visiting 1919 or 2119. Which do you choose?

Not a bad choice either way. Go back and you can work it for investment strategies and never work again. Go forward and you can bring back info for investing and sports betting and never work again.

If anyone has read 11/22/63 by S. King, there are a whole host of issues you would face.
If you went back:
Your currency would stand out and not be accepted. Food would be different. Fashion? Leave your cell. Etc.

I feel like it would be easier making it in 1919 for a week, at a location of your choosing. I think it would be easier to acclimate yourself to that setting than whatever a hundred years from now is.
I wouldn't want to roll the dice and pick 100 years in the future given any location on the planet.
