As tempting as this might be, the repercussions would undoubtedly undo major aspects of what my present life is today.

Some changes would be for the better; some unintended consequences would be for the worse.

That would manifest itself into my kids either not at all being here, or being different versions of themselves; the same concept with my grandkids.

I wouldn’t trade any of either of those groups as presently constituted for anything or anyone else.

So, thanks but no thanks on the offer of time travel.

2009. Bitcoin

1994ish. Sitting on the couch on a Friday night watching TGIF with my parents and waking up early to catch Saturday morning cartoons, then riding my bike to the park with friends to play and fish on the Mississippi. Good times, simpler times.

Sticking to replacing myself:

Go back to 2010 and buy all the bitcoin I could while it was under 25 cents per coin. I was young and cutting grass for a living making surprisingly decent cash.

Wouldn't sell any until it hit 10k and live on that until it hit prices of 25k 50k and then 100k. And hold half until 1m a coin.

Say I can barely get 2k invested in it, selling in those lots would give me at least a quarter billion and I'd have half of my btc left.

I'd like to go back into myself in 1992, but knowing all that I know now.
