In all honesty, does anyone really care about these people being hit? Sad to say, but I feel like this segment of the population is disposable

So the person who was hit while (sitting?) at a bus stop? I guess that counts as a pedestrian. Driver of the vehicle fled. What a surprise.

Is this incident racially motivated too? Or is it only racist when cops hit Jaywalkers?

Do people walk in that street like cattle?

Yes. That area of the city is a different world. They wander into the street in front of moving vehicles without a care in the world. How more of them don’t get mulched is beyond me

Sad news. Gravy’s mouth is too full of nacho cheese to get back to you.

Hopefully there will be equal outrage from the "community" on this one as there was on the one that happened this weekend when it was night and dark as shite out there

This guy was just sitting on a bench at the bus stop. From what I was told, sounds like the driver was drunk.

A pedestrian is anyone not in a motor vehicle. Can be a bicyclist as well.

SWB and the metro council will have tons of meetings to decide they need a 20 cents sales tax from people in the unicorporated areas to fix this problem caused by White flight.

.0000001 percent of a cent would go to put side walks in and the rest to the studies and political kick backs.

It’s spitting distance from the actual bus station.

Florida Blvd, last I checked (2014-ish), is a nightmare and a jungle once you pass the old BR General Mid City by about 2 miles. That Exxon (maybe now it's something else) once had people of all walks of life, cultures, and races walk in and it was not bad...very open space and seen well from the road. The Lobdell area behind the Wendy's and Po-Boy Express and Chevron was full of middle-class do-gooders when I knew the area. But, 4 years...in this city? It very well may be South Sudan.

The Florida Blvd Wal-Mart is what I imagine hell may look like in the early entrance. There are no rules.

The bus station, if located further north, would be criminal haven.

And once upon a time...was there a Bennigan's there by Cortana?

My, have the mighty have fallen.
