Yep that's pretty good. What I have found in my career is that I roll along getting 3-5% raises per year and then every 3-4 years I have to go look for a job somewhere else because my raises haven't kept up with my market value. I have done that 3 times now and gotten a 20-30% bump each time I switched jobs.

We must be in the same industry. The only time I get those 10%+ bumps are new job roles (promotion) or work for a new company.

I typically get 2-4% merit with a 16% cash bonus.

I got a 12% raise and 5% COLA.

3 years for me and 8 years for my mother-in-law.
