I'm not a fan of rubber straps at all, though.

What is the Model of that Ball watch? I'm in the market for a watch that style and I really like that one.

That's actually pretty sweet. I like those vintage looks. How big is it? Vintage watches tend to be pretty small.

Glad I only spent $400ish as opposed to the $4k for a similar looking Tag Heuer Grand Carrera with rubber strap. And the Eco-drive is truly awesome:

I was coming to say this. I thought you were worried about spending $400 on a watch when you rock a 5k tag!

FWIW I am in the market for a citizen and I love the one you got except I want a metal band. What is is called and do they come in metal bands?

Haha well I merely wanted a black faced racing style watch with a rubber band. The Tag Grand Carrera originally caught my eye but for over $3500 less, this Citizen looked similar enough me for to pass on doling out all the extra cash.

See for yourself the similarities:

The original watch I was eyeing by Tag:

The one I ended up with from Citizen:

Can't believe that y'all don't want an automatic. I wouldn't wear a watch without being interested in its movement. Next, next watch will be a manual winding version.

I've never liked Quartz movement watches. Even when I was much younger, I hated seeing "Quartz" on the dial. It made it look lame.

I want a mechanical hand wind or automatic.I found a couple I'm looking at, and I posted them earlier in this thread. No one really likes them. :/

That's how you know you've chosen wisely. Style is an acquired taste and most people aren't even taking the first sip/bite.
