I've had a burger that used a krispy kreme for the bun and added a fried egg on top. Not bad. Would try this one as well.

Yup.
I cut the KK in half, then put the sugar side on the meat, and then quickly heated the donut up again on the grill with the burger completely made.
It was glorious.
I would definitely try this.
