Received a ticket for running a red light about 3 months ago from BRPD. I've called numerous times to see what the amount is I owe and its still not "in the system". I've tried to pay it online, and its not available there either. I was told to bring it in so they can put it in the system.

But if its still not in the system, Do I really have a ticket?

My court date is tomorrow morning. Should I just show up and see if my name is called? WWTOTD?

Traffic ticket

We would have the ticket dropped, have the bank foreclose on the District Attorney's home, have his kids sent to public school in North BR, and have the cop who gave the ticket doing DUI stops in Fairbanks, Alaska

A very rich fellow told me a similar story last week. Weights & Standards hit him with an expired inspection sticker. He called several different departments, trying to pay it, and no one could find any record of it. Several weeks later, he received a warrant notice in the mail. He was able to pay it without getting arrested. But the moral of the story is that the ticket never just vanishes.

You're not OT until you have your Bench Warrant cherry popped.

Call the judge and ask of you're on the docket. If not, you're free homeslice

Go to court and if there is no record, it will be dismissed...

if its not in the system yet, maybe no one from the state shows up and the judge will let you go scot free.

Show up, stand before the court, and shout out a prepared speech that implicates the modern local police officer as nothing more than the operating arm of our ever growing fascist government, stealing our freedoms in the name of tax collecting and making weak-minded fellows feel better about themselves.

Then strip naked in front of the judge, climb the bench, urinate on his face, yell "world star!" and then start gyrating and takin' care of business.

Report back with pics and a horizontal phone video.

You don't have to go to court to find out if you're supposed to be there. You can call the judge's office

Call the Clerk not the judge.
